1. Detailed Client Brief

To focus on your core objectives and gain a thorough understanding of your commercial strategy.

In our experience companies are unclear and vague about the specific goals and outcomes from consultancy or training. Without this clarity at the beginning of a project any round of consultancy is doomed. Our approach is to help the client achieve clarity at the very beginning to ensure maximum added value and deliverable success.

2. Training Needs Analysis

Pre-programme interviewing

To identify issues in the workplace that need addressing.
Identifies the gaps between what you want to achieve and the current reality. Katalyst has taken conventional training needs analysis and supercharged the process. When we design transformational programmes for our clients we conduct focus group interviews in the client organisation and also conduct depth interviews on a one to one basis with directors within the organisation to get a clear picture of reality, our goal is to identify the challenges and development opportunities. And we don't stop there…in fact it would be 'academic' to stop at this point as our clients customers must also be involved in our transformation approach. Thing about it... if your customers can't see measure tangible evidence of improvement in service capability then there is no result. We go to the heart of the issue and interview your customers at director and middle management level. We also use broadcast video to capture customer comments and use this material to provide motivational transformation evidence, which we then use positively to help develop appropriate behaviours to facilitate extradionary performance. 3. Analysis Feedback

Gives senior managers detailed feedback on the information derived from the comprehensive needs analysis. From this detailed evaluation we are able to make recommendations and suggestions, which our clients can use in their decision making process. Our discovery process illuminates the key issues, identifies roadblocks and then provides strategies and ideas on how to move forwards.

Our dynamic investigation process has not only provided key insights for our clients but in addition unleash business development opportunities, which until our involvement hadn't appeared on our client's opportunity radar. We have helped facilitate relationship improvement unleashing millions of pounds worth of additional business.

4. Training Coaching Programme Design
All the courses we deliver are designed based on identified needs with input from senior management, this helps you to bridge the reality gap.

We take special care in designing our entire practical to work with the grain of the principles of adult learning, catering for different learning styles. In addition we develop bespoke case studies based on our client lives commercial challenges to raise the value of the training increasing return on investment and also crafting an effective re-entry strategy for delegates so they are able to apply key learning back on the job. This is a critical success factor in our success methodology.

5. In Role Coaching
Senior managers are developed to execute their role as In-role coaches, which means that delegates can be sure of support where they need it most on the job…this is when the effectiveness of any training is really tested.

6. Executive Telephone Coaching
Unique to Katalyst this Executive Coaching supports delegates implementing their key learning's via the personal development plan for a full 10 weeks after the programme has finished. The results of this sustainability programme have been remarkable. We have successfully delivered Telephone coaching via our multilingual coaches internationally enabling us to cross cultural boundaries with our approach.

7. Celebrate Success - Review Day
No effective training-coaching programme is fully complete without effective follow-up, which is why we will arrange a comprehensive support package including review day for your staff after the programme. Our review days focus delegates on a future goal to aim for. This helps achieve a pull through effect, unlike most programmes where the training stops once you've filled in the course questionnaire - at Katalyst we just got started!!!! On THAT day delegates are able to celebrate success along with senior management. This helps underpin the new behaviours and skills learnt and support the evolution of a dynamic progressive culture.
